At Old Trafford’s new conference facility, we maximised space by installing movable walls across four track positions. Two walls, each measuring 20 metres long and 7.6 metres high, were required to perform equally in multiple locations.
The key challenge was ensuring perfect alignment and interlocking when the walls were moved between track runs, despite structural deflection across the spans. Becker engineers designed an innovative solution that allows each panel to achieve plumb alignment in any position, guaranteeing seamless performance and reliability at scale.
